I thought I would share with you what I told him. I believe that playsets for kids are important precisely because of what a technological age we live in. When I was a child, my playset was my castle and my backyard was my kingdom. I would fight dragons and save my village from evil, all from the ramparts of my backyard play set. All children want to play, they want to be entertained constantly and to escape into a fantasy world far from reality, where everything is magical and there is a mystery to solve and a monster to fight around every corner.
